Delay in Delivery
I bought 4 LED Bulbs of 12 W each through order no 11611943. The offer was buy 4 bulbs for Rupees 392/- plus 49 rupees for shipping. The shipping was promised in 3 to 6 working days however it took rediff shopping 12 days to deliver the product i.e. I ordered it on 19th May 2015 and it was delivered to me on 31st May 2015 and that too only after I sent two mails to the customer support.
Bad Quality
The 12 Watt LED bulbs were not really of 12 Watts i.e. the light was much dimmer than what one would expect of a 12W bulb. Plus one of the 4 bulbs in the offer had improper phosporus coating, due to which light only shines from one half of the bulb.
I have seen much better LED bulbs from roadside vendors at a much cheaper price than the above.
What was even more surprising than the bad quality of the product was that there was no way I could post a feedback on the website or rate the product. And I was wondering how the product was showing 5 stars based on 168 Rediff customer feedback, when I being a registered rediff customer could not rate the product that I purchased.
No Reply from Customer Service
There was no reply to my complaint as promised within 24 hours. Thankfully it was not an expensive product hence I did not lose that much, but it did make me realize what kind of a portal Rediff Shopping is.
Poor Refund Policy
Only if you notify the customer service in 2 days you are eligible for a refund.
